13 Craziest Crowd Surfing and Stage Diving

Pink inside a bubble rolled over audience

'Pink' rolled over a very excited crowd in her giant ball. The same way it did 'Wayne Coyne' from the band 'Flaming Lips'.

A man in wheelchair surfing at 'Bad Religion' show

This is a new phenomenon that's been going on. Wheelchair users and people with paralysis that have been caught crowd surfing. That's right people who have been caught at shows riding the human wave despite their disability. The video here shows a paralyzed man at a Bad Religion show being passed from person to person while caring his manual wheelchair on his chest.

'Eddie Vedder' jumps from a TV-mast into the crowd

The 'Pearl Jam' lead singer demonstrates his derring-do when he climbs aboard a TV crane and jumps into the crowd from a fairly scary height at a gig in Holland, 1992. In the 90's he participated in many stage diving as well as crowd surfing.

Beyonce Knowles crowd surfs in high heels

Wearing high heels Beyonce Knowles surprised her fans by jumping into the crowd during the finale. She didn't do anything spectacular, but those lucky enough to catch in a concert know the singer certainly puts on a show. Luckily for Beyonce, she was passed back to her stage in the round to finish off her show.

'Rich Aucoin' literally board surfing

He decided to literally surf on the crowd.

Juliette Lewis almost walked on the crowd

Actress and singer decided to dive almost walking into the crowd in the Lolapalloza 2007.

Singer of 'Monotonix' surfing on a drum kit

Monotonix is known for performing on the floor among the crowd, setting instruments on fire and stealing drinks from audience members. When the members found themselves banned from most venues in their hometown Tel Aviv, they decided to take the show on the road.

Courtney Love goes crazy

The rock singer and former frontwoman for the band 'Hole' threw her guitar on the floor and dived off the stage. It was during the HFStival in 1995.

A nearly-naked 'Lady Gaga'

Lady Gaga stunned fans at the recent Lollapalooza festival when she made a surprise appearance during the set of old friends 'Semi Precious Weapons', hours ahead of her scheduled performance. Wearing nude underwear and nipple pasties, the star played drums onstage before cavorting with lead singer 'Justin Tranter' - then stage dived into the gobsmacked crowd.

Katy Perry stage diving

Katy is renowned for her crazy stage antics and this is one example. She went wild jumping off on the crowd, during the band '3OH!3' were performing.

Rammstein's crowdsailing

'Rammstein's concerts are famous for fire shows, but in this case the bassplayer Ollie Riedel (thanks, Francis) decided to use a floater to navigate on the crowd. Very funny!

Massive crowd surfing at 'Five Finger Death Punch' show

Craziest and massive crowd surfing during the show of 'Five Finger Death Punch'. It was an explosion of crowdsurfers!

Crowd surfing fail

As we saw stage diving is awesome -everyone can appreciate it. But a stage dive fail? Well, they're even more awesome, like the rapper 'Method Man' whose surfing went wrong. They packed out but that cluster of crowd just all moved out the way!

10 most controversial super bowl ads

Focus on the Family (2010)

This much discussed Focus on the Family ad tells the story of a woman who contracted amoebic dysentery and, despite doctor's advice, chose not to terminate her pregnancy. The son she gave birth to grew up to be college football star Tim Tebow.

Ashley Madison (2011)

I can't imagine why Ashley Madison ad was rejected by Fox in 2011. It's certainly no surprise that a company based on providing an avenue for married people to have affairs pushed the boundaries of taste a little too far. It is mildly surprising that Ashley Madison keeps trying, and has now had their Super Bowl ad rejected two years in a row. And it was quite surprising when the website attempted to buy the naming rights to the New Meadowlands Stadium last summer with an offer of $25 million.

Fantasy Video Greetings (2010)

This commercial for Fantasy Video Greetings E-Cards didn't make it all the way to the 2010 Superbowl but it's still a great one. You can't help but feel sorry for this sports fan.

ManCrunch.com (2010)

CBS rejected this ManCrunch (a dating site targeting gay men) ad in 2010 on the grounds that it was not up to their creative standards.

The ad is this: two men watching the Super Bowl. Their hands meet at the potato chip bowl, which instigates a glance. Then, that sparks a male-on-male make-out session while a friend overlooks, puzzled. The ad was rejected by CBS, sparking more controversy than chemistry, and leaving many wondering why one side of the political spectrum was given air time and the other not.

PETA (2009)

This PETA Super Bowl Ad was banned from the Super Bowl for being too explicit for television. PETA has become known for pushing the envelope when it comes to nudity in order to get their message across, and their latest advertising endeavor goes one step further. In the new PETA Commercial (called 'Veggie Love'), models are shown in lingerie getting friendly with vegetables, all while rock and roll music is played in the background and little messages are posted on the screen about how people who are vegetarians have better sex (according to studies).

NBC sent PETA a complete list of concerns regarding the commercial that included segments they felt should be cut from the Super Bowl spot. PETA posted the list on their web-site, and they include suggestions for removing scenes that depicted "rubbing asparagus on breast", "rubbing pelvic region with pumpkin", and "licking pumpkin". The commercial itself definitely was something that was meant to be provocative, and it seems that PETA was really sending a message with this Super Bowl advertisement that they just wanted to get the PETA name out there again.

GoDaddy (2010)

Banned from the Super Bowl, GoDaddy.com's 'Lola' commercial features a former football player who follows his dream of fashion.

Holiday Inn (1997)

When Holiday Inn planned a billion dollar overhaul of their chain back in 1997, they struggled to come up with the right metaphor to get the point across. Their answer? Comparing the renovations to a sex change procedure. While activists within the transgendered community were outraged, millions of Super Bowl viewers were left wondering how exactly that was supposed to make a stay at Holiday Inn more appealing.

Just For Feet (1999)

With over 140 branches, Just For Feet was once one of the largest retailers of footwear in the country. But in 1999, their company decided to air a Super Bowl ad depicting a group of white hunters tagging and bagging the rarest prey of all: an African man. Viewers were appalled, the media was outraged and the giant shoe sued their ad agency; by the end of the year, Just For Feet had declared bankruptcy.

Bud Light 2007

Apology-Bot 3000 was based on the agency's Bud Light TV commercial, in which men find themselves in undesirable situations of their own making and not knowing how to apologize. One man is wondering how to confess to his girlfriend that their private sex video got out to "friends and video stores nationwide"; two sushi chefs are debating how to tell a table of customers that they just served them a deadly blowfish. Just in time, Apology-Bot, a hunk of metal reminiscent of the robot in Short Circuit but with a fridge of Bud Light for a belly, comes to these idiots' rescue, apologizing to their victims and offering them a cold one.

The ad was considered too racy for TV most precious time.

Airborne (2008)

In this Airborne ad, Mickey Rooney runs out of a sauna after getting coughed on - and loses his towel. Apparently, the networks thought his aging behind was something we couldn't handle. Turns out, they were right.

10 most stupid talents

The man who can get kicked in the crotch without injuring himself

Yong Hsueh, a Shaolin monk, appeared on the Chinese version of Britain's Got Talent to demonstrate his ability to get kicked in the crotch without suffering injury. He told the audience: "Steel crotch Kongfu is an ancient art, with roots stretching back to ancient China. "It's a practice to strengthen and protect the male genital organs so there is less chance they are injured or incapacitated in battle."

Cross legged male members of the audience watched in shock as various members of the panel were invited to boot the monk - who simply bowed and smiled after each blow - between the legs. The monk said this skill could only be learned by a student that started in childhood - and it involves pushing the testicles into the body where they could not be hurt.

The man who can stretch his skin for over 6 in

Garry Turner (UK), better known as the Stretchy Skin Man, is able to stretch the skin of his stomach to a distended length of 15.8 cm (6.25 in) due to a rare medical condition called Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, a disorder of the connective tissues affecting the skin, ligaments and internal organs.

The man who can burp at 110 decibels

Everyone has their own particular talent. For Paul Hunn, it's the ability to belch at 110 decibels. He achieved the Guinness World record for the loudest burp on the set of The New Paul O'Grady Show, London, UK, on 24 September 2008.

The contortionist who can squeeze through the head of a tennis racquet

Captain Frodo is a very disconcerting figure. It could be his semi-naked and very white body, bulging eyes, tattooed back, or perhaps the 2in black pegs skewered through his nipples that do it. Or maybe it is the small fact that he is currently squeezing his body through a 10in diameter tennis racquet - strings removed. Oh yes, and to speed things along a bit, he's now dislocating one joint after another, leaving spaces where shoulders should be and white limbs flopping and flapping in all the wrong places like a rag doll gone wrong. He's a contortionist in La Clique, a circus that also features juggling, sword-swallowing, strong men acts, acrobatics - indeed, pretty much everything but the bearded lady.

The man who can pull a minivan using his eyelids

Next time your car needs a tow but it turns out you haven't got the right equipment, talk to this man. Stuntman Xie Zhongcai in Hefei, China's eastern Anhui Province, has another idea that fits the job. Just tie the car to your ear and head off. And if that seems like it might sting just a little, how about his next trick.

If the locals in Heping Square were left with their mouths open after his first stunt, they couldn't believe their eyes the second time - since the stuntman hooked up the minivan to his eye sockets!

The man who can throw up anything

Liang Yuxin trumps even the very worst hangovers to become world throwing-up record holder. The Chinese man, 25, from Xia Mei has stunned doctors with his ability to regurgitate anything from a live fish to a 50-inch chain. While the process of dispensing with ten or more mojitos in the morning may feel unnatural, Liang Yuxin's ability to throw up jewellery puts even the bitterest katzenjammer to shame. The champion chunderer said: 'I found out I could do it when I was a boy and I accidentally swallowed a ball and found I could bring it back up at will. 'Now I seem to be able to swallow pretty much anything.'

Liang has taken to regularly swallowing fish and whatever else will fit down his oesophagus for kicks, and is now talking about going for the Guinness World Record in coin-swallowing. 'The record is ten by a man in Britain and I can do 11,' he said.

The man who can squirt milk with his eye

Ilker Yilmaz might just hold one of the world's most bizarre world records. The Turkish construction worker poured milk into his hand, loudly snorted it up his nose and squirted it 9.2 feet out of his left eye in what he hopes will be recognized as a new world record.

The man who can fit an entire Coke can in his mouth

Meet the man who won a place in the Guinness World Records for having a mouth so rubbery he can fit an entire Coke can in it… sideways. Francisco Domingo Joaquim's mouth stretches to a massive 6.69-inch-long, which adjudicators from the famous record book say is the world's widest. The 20-year-old record breaker from Sambizanga, Angola, is said to have shot to fame after showing off his 'talent' at local markets and football games.

The woman who plays two recorders with her nose

Performer Claire Hawes left Britain's Got Talent judges speechless after showing off her extraordinary abilities with the recorder. Not content with playing just one instrument, she took to the stage with two - which she promptly proceeded to blow with her nose, instead of the more conventional method of using her mouth. Claire was just one of a clutch of performers who hoped to make it through to the finals of the hit TV show.

The professor who can draw a perfect freehand circle

Alexander Overwijk draws a perfect freehand circle 1m in diameter in less than a second.

12 of the funniest news segments and interviews

Man's best friend

Back in April of this year, Ray Graham became an instant YouTube hit after an interview on the Australian news show A Current Affair. Things seemed boring enough when he voiced his concerns over the dangerous dogs terrorizing his neighborhood - that is, until he started making savage dog sounds - an impression that earned him the nickname, "Psycho Dog Man." You'd think that such a nickname might be taken badly, but he gladly accepted it and even answers to the monicker. His 15 minutes of fame have definitely played out by now, but his Facebook fan page is still going strong at over 24,000 likes. As for his wife, she told A Current Affair that after 34 years of marriage, nothing really surprised her anymore.

Hide yo' kids, hide yo' wife

Oh, where do we start? Just in case you've just spent the last several months living in a cave: Antoine Dodson is guy from Alabama that was interviewed by the local NBC affiliate after his sister was attacked in their home. It wasn't just any interview in the projects, either; it was more of an epic tirade of biblical proportions. The video went completely viral, and further rocketed into popularity once the Gregory Brothers remixed his interview - auto-tune style - into the "Bed Intruder Song." Antoine has since started his own (over 156,000 strong) Facebook fan page and put up a website. He's been interviewed on The Today Show, and his single has sold over 30,000 copies on iTunes - it even debuted on the Billboard Hot 100 back in August at #86. Dodson receives 50% of the revenue from the song, and he's actually made enough already to buy his family a new house. Hopefully they won't have to worry about break-ins anymore!

Wiener poopie ransom note

This segment began mildly enough, but started snowballing into something else very quickly. As if it weren't ridiculous enough that the local news crews went out to an old lady's house to report on the fact that a Jesus statue had been stolen from her front yard, they decided to go ahead and film a complete story and report on it. The interview was tame, even to the point of being repetitive and boring, but the ransom note was pure comedy gold. Just showing the note to the camera several times was enough to get just about anybody to chuckle, but the reporter's mocking tone as he read the note aloud was almost too much to handle.

Cleveland bear sighting

It's refreshing to see a reporting team that has a sense of humor. Cleveland resident Tina Marason spotted a black bear in her back yard and called 911 immediately. The local Fox affiliate grabbed an interview with her - but she wasn't the funny one. Apparently that local Fox affiliate didn't have access to stock footage of a black bear in the woods, so the news team nabbed a cardboard cutout of a black bear and used it in their recreations of the scene, with their reporter "running" it around the woods and "climbing" it up the trees. We don't even want to know where he got his hands on the squirrel costume, either.

Hoodrat stuff

We're not sure what 7-year old knows how to drive, but somehow Latarion Milton does. This little guy stole his grandmother's car keys and decided to take a joy ride in her SUV - wrecking mailboxes and tons of cars along the way. His joy ride was put to an immediate stop when he went off the road and broke the axle of the vehicle. Although he could have hurt himself - and others - his interview with the local news was golden. When asked why he did what he did, he said "I wanna do it 'cause it's fun… it's fun to do bad things… I wanted to do hood-rat stuff with my friends." Well, his hood-rat shenanigans didn't stop there - soon after the joy riding incident, he beat up on his grandmother at a Wal-Mart when she wouldn't buy him chicken wings.

Git… GIT!

Bigfoot stories have circulated in folklore for decades, and he apparently lives in Cleveland County, South Carolina. Tim Peeler was out one day calling for coyotes, but attracted the mythical Bigfoot beast instead. Our favorite quote from Mr. Peeler: "This thang was tin fewt tawl… he had be-yoo-tiful hayer!" Good thing he "rough-talked" him out of there, Bigfoot is known to steal chickens straight from the coop - and who knows what other flesh he hungers for.

He doesn't like lizards

It's a good thing that the reporter in this shot has a generally easy-going personality, because anybody else who went through that big a conniption on camera would likely have run off the stage in a fit of embarrassment.

They shot the rubber

Eyewitness accounts are usually not as fun to watch as this one. In fact, eyewitness accounts tend to be pretty simple, and often lacking vital information - but this woman has it down. She's quite the animated storyteller and whether or not everything she said was a lie, we want to listen to more. Though, we have to admit, we have no idea what she meant by her final statement. "They shot the rubber?" Rubber bullets? Box of condoms? Or was it "they shot the robber?" We'll likely never know, since the original news footage never came with a background story.

I like turtles

Somehow, we think that the reporter in this interview thought she was going to get a whole lot more out of that kid than she did. And here we thought zombies were supposed to like brains.

Leprechauns spotted in Alabama

Turns out that Bigfoot isn't the only mythical creature out and about these days. Folks in the Crichton neighborhood of Mobile, Alabama gathered in droves a few years ago to catch a glimpse of the elusive leprechaun rumored to be visiting. Some aren't so convinced: "It could be a crackhead that got into the wrong stuff!" Others have gone all out, preparing for their encounter with the leprechaun: "This is a special leprechaun flute passed down thousands of years from my great-great grandfather. Who was Irish. I'm just trying to help out." Now, we're not about to call that man a liar, but we're not so sure about his story, either. The best part of this video though has to be the amateur sketch at 0:45 seconds in. No words.

I have no secrets

It's difficult to actually quantify the awesomeness of the woman interviewed in this short clip, but there's no doubt about it - she'd probably spent the bulk of her adult life holding onto that line for the one moment when she'd finally be in front of a television camera.

The epic standoff

All this reporter wanted was a quick soundbite from the locals about the city's new water restrictions, but this old man wasn't about to make it easy for him. The old guy probably knew full well that he was breaking the rules! Being the rogue that he was though, he stayed tight-lipped against the reporter, staring him down to the bitter end.

First TOtal Lunar Eclipse to coincide with winter solstice in almost 400 years

Unless you were around in 1638, it's unlikely you've ever seen anything quite like this.
The moon turned blood-red over a crisp white landscape yesterday in the first lunar eclipse on the winter solstice for nearly 400 years.
A lunar eclipse occurs when the Earth, Sun and Moon are in line and the Earth's shadow moves across the surface of the full moon.
Sunlight that has passed through the earth's atmosphere makes the moon appear orange, brown, red or black. Just after 6.30am yesterday, the shadow appeared as a tiny bite in one side of the moon.

This spectacular picture of the lunar eclispe was captured over the snow-covered fields high in the Pennines above Holmbridge, West Yorkshire
By 7.25am, this was the spectacular scene high in the Pennines above Holmbridge, West Yorkshire, before the moon disappeared at the break of day.
The striking red lines cutting across the landscape are a less natural phenomenon - car tail lights, in a trail captured by thecamera's eight-second exposure.
The total eclipse began at 7.40am, with the moon close to the western horizon, and was expected to last for around 73 minutes.
Some of the best images in the UK came from Scotland where viewers were treated to the sight of the moon rising in the morning sky, gradually being eaten away over the course of an hour.

A picture taken in New York, shows the moon as the total eclipse nears its peak

while in Silver Spring, Maryland, the moon turns a deep red

In the US, spectacular images of the moon turning blood red greeted lucky skygazers.
During a lunar eclipse the earth, sun and moon are almost exactly in line with each other. As they line up, the earth's shadow passes across the surface of the full moon.
At first the shadow appears as a tiny bite in one side of the moon, before it engulfs the moon entirely.
Once the moon has moved into the shadow it is lit by sunlight that has passed through the earth's atmosphere.
The sunlight that hits the craters and plains of the lunar surface has a spooky reddish tinge.
And this is the first time that one has taken place on the winter solstice - the shortest day of the year - since 1638, so the omens could be particularly strong.

Pacman-like: A wedge of the moon is obscured by shadow in this image taken from Great Falls, Virginia

It is impossible to predict the colour of a lunar eclipse in advance. On rare occasions it goes entirely black.
But it can appear copper, brown or blood red depending on how far it goes into shadow and whether the atmosphere is polluted with dust from volcanoes.
Since our ancestors first gazed at the night sky, a total lunar eclipse has been regarded as one of the most auspicious events of the celestial calendar.
From southern parts of the UK, the initial partial phase and the beginning of what is known as 'totality' were visible, but the moon dropped down into the western sky as dawn approached.
From those locations, when totality begins, the moon was low in the west-north-western sky, close to the horizon and in a rapidly brightening sky.
From locations in Scotland and Northern Ireland, totality should have been visible in its entirety, but the moon will have been low after the time of greatest eclipse.
During totality the moon tracks through the northern part of the Earth's dark umbral shadow, so the southern half will appear considerably darker than the northern part.
